About REGA

Rodina Elite Gymnastics Academy was founded by husband-and-wife coaching team Yulia Rodina and Eduard Rizvanov, who bring decades of experience coaching Junior Olympic, Elite, and Acrobatic athletes. Originally from Russia, they moved to the United States in 2006 and have trained gymnasts across Hawaii, Idaho, and now California—developing athletes from their first cartwheel to the highest levels of national competition.

Since opening in Sacramento, REGA has proudly produced multiple USA National Team members in 2019, 2023, and 2025, along with numerous State, Regional, National, and International champions. Our athletes have represented the United States on the world stage and continue to set the standard for excellence in Northern California.

Yulia and Eduard’s coaching philosophy focuses on safety, strong fundamentals, proper progressions, and building confident, disciplined young athletes. REGA is also a true family gym—their daughters, Viktoriya and Alina, continue the legacy. Viktoriya now coaches and helps guide the next generation, while Alina competes at the Optional and Acrobatic levels.
