Acro is a partner-based gymnastics discipline where athletes learn lifts, balances, and creative routines that build strength, trust, and teamwork.
Ages 5+ | Beginner–Elite
Acrobatic Gymnastics—“Acro”—is an exciting discipline where athletes work in pairs or groups to perform balances, lifts, tumbling, and dance on the spring floor. Unlike traditional gymnastics, Acro does not use the bars or beam. Instead, it focuses on strength, flexibility, trust, and teamwork through creative routines performed to music.
REGA is one of the leading Acro programs in California, with athletes who have earned State, Regional, National, and International titles, including Team USA members.
Acro includes partnerships such as:
Women’s Pair (two girls)
Women’s Group (three girls)
Men’s Pair (two boys)
Men’s Group (four boys)
Mixed Pair (boy + girl)
Each partnership performs 1–3 routines that highlight balance skills, dynamic skills (throws, catches, tempo), tumbling, and choreography.
